| That's 6 out of 9 supreme court Justices that are Roman Catholic! Taken from the Unhived Mind Forum is the following: ![]()
The press only focussed on the fact that Sotomayor would be the first Hispanic Supreme Court justice in history and on the Democratic/Republican balance in the Supreme Court. Because of the Hispanic background I had the instant suspicion that she could be Roman-Catholic then. Turned out to be true. David Souter is Episcopalian. So this is definitely shifting the balance of power a bit further. I think I saw the confessional distribution in the Supreme Court recently. I have to find this again.
Thus increasing Roman-Catholic political influence?
Or based on the orders of a foreign power?
