Hello and welcome to SpirituallySmart.Com. A Web Site dedicated to sharing research. I am a born again Christian who has been saved since Feb, 1997.

I am also a Veteran who served during the Persian Gulf War. Here is a copy of a Military Evaluation which was signed by my Captain. I am using this as sort of a reference to show a little bit about who I am.

When it comes to the information presented here, my web site is typical of an old time Fundamental PROTESTANT position. (Although I don't agree with most reformed theology. Like Calvinism, etc.) Protestants were called "Protestants" because they protested against the Papacy.

My web site name, "Spiritually Smart" simply refers to fearing God. God calls the fear of the Lord, "Wisdom" (Job 28:28)

Jesus Christ is the most important aspect of my life. He saved my soul and gave me peace within. He suffered and died for me. No one else on earth has done that. The only person who ever impressed me in this world was Jesus. And He is the only One I want to impress. I'm not concerned with what any man or woman think about me. This web site isn't based on pleasing man and it never was. Anyone who thinks so is truly mistaken.

Jesus says through the Apostle Paul, "For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ." Galatians 1:10

The Lord said, "But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you." Luke 12:31

So if I win the favor of men, let it be because I have pleased God. "When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him." Proverbs 16:7

But who should I watch out for?

"Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith." 2 Thessalonians 3:1, 2.

These are the people who have no intention of pleasing God. They also have no faith but are "men pleasers."

"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." 2 Timothy 3:1-5

"And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." 2 Timothy 4:18

Recent Bible Study


Jan 17, 2011 "For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him." Isaiah 53:2

This verse is in reference to the Tree of Life. The rest of the chapter of Isaiah explains the price that was paid for us, mankind, to again have access to that Tree of Life which we were cut off from after Adam and Eve sinned.

Jesus stated, "If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned." John 15:6

As you can see Jesus is telling us to do something. There are works involved.

We are to "yoke up" together with Christ. "TAKE my yoke upon you,..." Matt 11:29

"Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" Amos 3:3

Paul further warns, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1

Who are you yoked up with?

"God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship (partnership) of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord." 1 Cor 1:9

"If we say that we have fellowship [partnership] with him, and walk in darkness, we lie , and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship [partnership] one with another (us with God), and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." 1 John 1:6-7

Jesus is the Word of God and the Word is our light. We must walk in the Word which is the light. If we walk in the light THEN and only then will the blood of Jesus cleanse us of "all sin."

This is my study. I never steal anyone's study references or guides. The Lord says that the Holy Spirit instructs us.

"But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him." 1 John 2:27

"I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye." Psalm 32:8

The Gospel isn't just about "defense" It's about offense, to go a fight the spiritual fight (preaching the true Gospel), to win souls.. and not with false doctrine as that only will win Bad Fruit. We want good fruit that will in turn create good fruit. And that begins the chain reaction. bad fruit is really really bad isn't it? it stinks, it looks nasty and tastes horrible. but good fruit is the most perfect of foods on the face of the earth.
 
The first message from John the Baptist (Elijah) was "Repent..." Mat 3:2 the first message Jesus brought was the message to "Repent the kingdom of heaven is at hand" Mat 4:7  the first words of Peter after the Holy Spirit had fallen upon them was Then Peter said unto them, Repent , and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38 When Paul was converted he said, "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to Repent:" Acts 17 
 
Anyone who preaches that we don't need to repent was sent straight from the devil. Repentance is works necessary to attain the kingdom of heaven. 
 
Mat 3:7. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8. Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: 9. And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. 10. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
 
And Paul says again, "But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance." 

GOD "...will render to every man according to his deeds:" Rom 2:6

"And I saw another angel fly in the middle of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." (Revelation 14:6, 7)

"Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand." (Rev 1:3)

"Behold , I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth , and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame." (Rev 16:15)

"But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh." (Matt 24:43, 44)
Hear the Words of Jesus:

"If you love me, keep my commandments." John 14:15

"Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you." John 15:14

This can only happen if you are born again and the Truth has set you free. So repent and confess to God, confess you're a sinner and in need of Salvation through His Son Jesus. God can set you free and give you peace, power and a sound mind.

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9

"Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." 1 Tim 2:4

"... As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? Ezekiel 33:11

"Come now, and let us reason together, said the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." Isaiah 1:18

"... Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood," Rev 1:5

"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." (Rev 3:20)

Vatican launches YouTube channel - Europe, World - The Independent

Bolstered by a hearty endorsement from the Pope, the Vatican plunged into a new age today, launching its own dedicated YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/vaticanit.


Initially available in Italian, English, German and Spanish, the ad-free site gives the Church an official presence in the fast-moving, anarchic world of new technology. Type “Vatican” into YouTube’s search engine and the first video to appear is entitled “The Devil in the Vatican” and claims that the modern Church has gone over to the other side. The second argues that “Nazi Germany was a creation of the Vatican and the Jesuits”. Now the Vatican has the means to fight back.


“The Vatican Television Centre and Vatican Radio have been producing video news on the Pope’s activities every day for over a year,” said the papal spokesman Father Federico Lombardi. “Now they are ready to make this jump into the global arena.”


The Vatican’s fusty facade has long concealed a tech-savvy interior: its solemn-looking web site, www.vatican.va , is a treasure trove, and was once nominated for a Webby award.


Pope Benedict said the new technologies were “a gift to humanity”. By communicating online, he said, we are responding to God, “who desires to make of all humanity one family. When we find ourselves drawn towards other people ? we are responding to God’s call.” But he warned that “if the desire for virtual connectedness becomes obsessive” it can damage “healthy human development”.

Shortly after Pope Benedict XVI's election in 2005, President Bush met with a small circle of advisers in the Oval Office. As some mentioned their own religious backgrounds, the president remarked that he had read one of the new pontiff's books about faith and culture in Western Europe.

Save for one other soul, Bush was the only non-Catholic in the room. But his interest in the pope's writings was no surprise to those around him. As the White House prepares to welcome Benedict on Tuesday, many in Bush's inner circle expect the pontiff to find a kindred spirit in the president. Because if Bill Clinton can be called America's first black president, some say, then George W. Bush could well be the nation's first Catholic president.

This isn't as strange a notion as it sounds. Yes, there was John F. Kennedy. But where Kennedy sought to divorce his religion from his office, Bush has welcomed Roman Catholic doctrine and teachings into the White House and based many important domestic policy decisions on them.

"I don't think there's any question about it," says Rick Santorum, former U.S. senator from Pennsylvania and a devout Catholic, who was the first to give Bush the "Catholic president" label. "He's certainly much more Catholic than Kennedy."

Another example of anti-Semitic black propaganda was Eustace Mullins's book A Racial Program for the Twentieth Century, which purported to be proof of a Jewish/Communist plot against White Americans.
